Go to Advance Auto or Autozone They have OBDII readers to check what the code is for free. Possible your gas cap was NOT secured properly. Check that BUT it will take some drive miles to clear IF cap was loose

Start by checking your gas cap. Make sure O ring is in good shape, properly installed and that the filler tube is clear of any grime and debris.

google is your friend on this one. There are even YouTube videos on possible solutions.
this link here should be a good basic info start in case it wasn’t the most likely culprit - your gas cap.

Looks like a warranty related issue to me, I would just take it to the dealer. It’ll be covered under the 3 yr/36k bumper to bumper warranty.

Nuff said. Why do your own investigation/work and void a warranty? Unless you mod the hell out of it already...take it to a dealership.
