I’ll be renting a Taco / 4R next week for a sort of extended test drive to drive from Socal to Zion. Wife and I are going to do some hiking but I was looking to do some trails as well. Does anyone know what trails Out there are open with COVID runners rampant?

COVID policies across National Parks aren’t consistent. I know Canyonlands cancelled my back county permits. I’ve been to Rocky Mountain National Park but it’s limited availability, you have to do an online reservation to get access.

Your best bet is hitting up their website for info and potentially calling to speak to a ranger, but you be on hold for a long time.

I was just out west a few weeks ago.

the Rockies are reservations for the hour time frame you enter. Few hundred cars per hour when we were there.

Yosemite is daily reservations and it’s a pain in the ass, but they do release some at like 7 am.

other parks had closed off areas, some camping open, some closed. None of the information centers were open.

It’s pretty simple, stop your germs from traveling far from your body.

Wow.... this took a turn lol. But since were on the subject. N95s do work to protect you. I treat COVID patients everyday so I KNOW they work. I’d suggest everyone try to get access to some if you can. The 3M gas mask looks pretty wicked but it works!!
