Are you going to off road? Even if you aren't I think sliders provide better bang for the buck, look better, provide a lot of protection, and you only have to buy once, cry once.

Then I recommend perusing the marketplace and craigslist and wait for someone to post their stock takeoffs.

We have the Toyota Predator steps. My wife is 5-2 and my daughter is 5-0 and they love them. I am 5-10 and also use them for stepping in and out. Not oval tubes, but I thought I’d share our experience in case you’re open to steps.

You should be happy with them. If I remember right they come wrapped in color coded plastic wrap so you know which is the right side and which is the left. Leave the brackets loose until you have the steps attached and then tighten everything down. Also make sure to put the plastic covers over the brackets before you put the step on. I forgot that tip and had to pull the step off.

Toyota oem steps are built well. Sometimes oem accessories aren’t that great, but the ones I have on my truck are top notch.
