They have a nest behind/under my dock. And had babies last year. They “squeak” to each other. I love’em but they dam up the creek. Poor guy has to break it, and scoop the mud away. Kind of funny, it’s dammed up again the next day.....

I have seen a raft of over a dozen “Woodys” at one time. What’s your favorite the Eagle?

Man all birds of prey impress the hell out of me! My favorite has always been the Peregrine falcon, probably because we saw them all the time as kids and they hold the record for fastest animal on Earth.

My favorite duck has got to be the harlequin duck. So damn pretty. I'd love to go up to Alaska and do a hunt

Nice, i had to stop traffic in the street in front of my house to keep one from getting hit. I took it back into the river bed, We have some big ones in there.

Someone ran over a snake in the neighborhood yesterday. My wife saw it and freaked out. If it was a Kingsnake I would be pi$$ed...There’s always a ran over goose every year or a dead beaver....And a couple deer got hit, how in a 25mph zone I will never know.....

43D285EC-8FBE-434B-B0B0-1134A7B5A136.jpg Wood Duck still has all three hatchlings and they are doing well. These stay hidden, only the second time I’ve seen them... Actually looking closer they do have their adult plumage. She hatched three females...
