    Lol!

You could replace the bottom one with "adding oil every 300 miles because it's a Honda and it burns oil like a 2-stroke."

hehe...poor Honda has really lost its way. I have never added an ounce of oil to mine in-between service...but that was back when Honda was on top of their game.

I thought it was their older VTEC motors that burned oil. All I know is that a friend of mine has a CRX and I did not enjoy following him around on a road trip a few years ago.

What kind of Honda did you have?

My 95 vtec civic burned oil like crazy. Mainly because it blew valve cover gaskets like an Olympic sport.

Not did, do. 2000 Civic SI with the 1.6 DOHC VTEC and a 5-speed manual. It's a compact car tank. At 234K on the clock, she's just entering her prime.

I work 2 miles from my home. With dropping off the kids maybe 2.5 miles. From November to April I have below freezing temperatures and often single digit. So I change it before and after winter. Roughly around 5-6,000 miles. In FL it was 10k miles because most trips were over 10 miles in warm temperatures.
