Did you just run this stock? I have a 2016 Trail 4R that just got and have been super interested in Imogene Pass. I don't have much at all as far as off-road stuff nor is it lifted, so wondering how it went and if you had any mods...

I did it in my stock 18 last year. Pick your lines wisely and be prepared to scrape a running board, chrome tip , skids and possibly a front bumper if your not careful. I did it again this year with black back after settling in with my icon stage 2 at 2.5 front and 2.0 rear. You can do it but have a spotter to guide you the right way.

It also have sliders, which is nice. Let's just say I took more challenging routes!

My dad and I ran this countless times in a stock '96 Eddie Bauer edition Ford Explorer over 20 years ago... anything ugly has a bypass. The Ouray side has some uglier sections, but you'll be fine. The drive is breathtaking. Get out there early and start on the Telluride side as the crowds can be overwhelming in normal years.

My favorite is Bald Mountain Gulch (FS Road 300) is a 4WD road in the Fourmile area of Colorado, southeast of Johnson Village. Bald Mountain Gulch traverses the scenic, high elevation terrain in a northeast to southwest track. It provides the 4x4 enthusiast spectacular rock formations and sandy terrain, plus occasional tawny rock-framed views of the Collegiate Peaks. There are numerous 4WD roads in the vicinity, making Fourmile an ideal destination for a weekend of 4x4 trails, camping, hiking, and fishing. I like off-roading here with my dad here very much!
