Okay, so I posted the lug question on a TRD pro FB page. I asked specifically for a 2020 owner to measure his lug and stud. This is what one person with a 2020 said.

So the 2020 pro has 1.5” lugs and the bolt sticks out 0.5” from the wheel.

OP mentioned he has 1.75” lugs. I wonder if Toyota changes the stud length over the years.

I’ll measure mine when I get home too. Most likely, my 1.75” lugs can be replaced with the 1.5” ones.

    Currently stock; MODS coming soon.
I replaced both sets of OEM chrome lug nuts on my Tacoma Pro and 4R Pro and replaced with black ones I found on Amazon for $30 (full set). They are a tab bit shorter but they work and fit just fine. Also, if I am at shop, I always request the lug nuts to be removed with no air tools, I don't my wheels to be scratched from using air tools. I had a bad experience on my Lexus when the shop used air tool and the lug nut spun out causing painted wheel to scuff to the metal. I have black lug nuts on my 18 Tacoma for two years now... I would buy them again.

I still haven't found the black OEM lugs that are 1.75”

Not sure if 1.5” lugs will work on my OEM TRD mag wheels. YMMV

Here is a pic of a lug that came off my OEM TRD wheel

have you had a chance to read post #36? when i get home tonight, i'll measure the stud length sticking out of my trd pro wheels. if it's ~ 0.5", i think we can do the 1.5" black lugs like the 2020 has.

Also, if someone has a 2015-2018 TRD Pro, can you measure your chrome lugs to see if its 1.75” like mine or 1.5” like a 2019 & 2020

after looking at various sites and measuring my current lugs and stud lengths, i believe the key factor is the shank depth of the lug when comparing 12x1.5" vs 12.1.75". the stud length coming out of the wheel is ~ 0.5". so as long as the shank depth of the stud you use is > 0.5", i believe you can use either 1.5" or 1.75". this is assuming the 1.5" or 1.75" lugs have a 0.57' (0.46 + -0.11) depth at the contact point of the lug.

    your thoughts?

I think you should be ok then, but I would personally go with OEM lugs and not some eBay unknown brand.

I haven’t been really looking around. The 1.5” OEM (6) sets on eBay are like $30 shipped, so $22 sounds good.

Where are you finding them at that price? Any additional shipping costs?

should ask the seller if combined shipping is available then that would be a better deal

it's strange that this part number does not show up in any of my online toyota sites. i would think we could get a better price there.

Nice! You can use this discount code if you order from Sparks Parts

    “TundraDude34”

EDIT: I just noticed that those are the acorn style lug nuts posted in that Sparks Parts picture. The ones needed for the TRD Pro wheels are the mag style seat lug nuts. Should confirm with them before ordering.

That will look awesome! Did you find a felt lined socket? I wish they made them in gray for our wheels. Black would look off I think. Do they make a black locking set? I can't remember...

For grey wheel, either use chrome or paint them. I think these are cheaply painted. The eBay ones are shiney. These are Matt black like the Oem TRD wheel.

I figured they’d fit with no problems. The Gorilla Automotive 1.5” black lug nut set that put on fit with no problems when I installed them a couple months ago.
