Hello from Arkansas. I'm a current Jeep owner (but not a Jeep biggot.) My current DD is a 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited w ARB bull bumper 2" KOR spring lift running all-terrain 31s powered by a 4.7L v8 at about 235hp. Since it is my daily driver i like the nice accessories (leather, auto everything, full time 4WD, etc). What i know about 4 runners can be written on a postage stamp with a crayon.

Which generation/package would be comparable to my current ride? I would prioritize interior comfort over power but only by a slim margin. Thanks in advance for your help!

ps if this needs moved to a different thread please advise. Thx!!

the 4th gen 4runner would probably be closest. the v6 models have actually more horsepower, but probably less torque. v8 models will have more power and torque but are about 300lbs heavier and full time 4wd which isn't really a big deal. interior wise the 4runner has less buttons and visual "bling" than a jeep dash, but are very comfortable and quiet compared to every WJ I've been in. you'd probably be looking for a limited v8 model, that has leather, full time 4wd, and all the bells and whistles

    years to look for: 2003-2009

I love my 3th gen, but not made for comfort(even tho i like it) and accessories. Id say 4th Gen is what you want.

A few things here and there. Still dreaming up stuff
Agree also. While I love the 3rd Gen and have two of them even my 99 limited might not be what you are really looking for even with all the bells it has and a rear diff locker and awd.
