Hello all from Austin Texas, i am coming from TW with nothing but great things to say about the community and the Tacoma platform. This year i will be taking on a new project, as i have sold my Tacoma and purchased a 1999 4Runner that is in excellent condition. i have been searching for a 1st gen Tacoma or 3rd gen 4runner for a few months now and came across this one 4 hrs away. After the test drive and visual inspection i was super impressed with the condition. It's rare a vehicle looks better in person than in pictures but this one blew me away when i first laid eyes on it. It is a 2 owner unit with 183k miles with all service records from Toyota. It appears to have been a garage queen due to the lack of a single ding or dent/scratch. I had to buy it, and am looking forward to the new build. My previous vehicles were a 2013 4Runner limited and then a 2016 Tacoma i bought when they first came out. Over the 4 years i owned the taco i let the Mod bug get under my skin a little too much... this 4runner will not be as modified, or at least i will try to keep it reasonable haha. Anywho, i look forward to meeting everyone here as i know this is a great community as well. The goal is to have this thing lightly modified to be more capable by the Toyota Jamboree in a few months. I'll add a few pictures of the Tacoma and the new ride.
