Hey guys and gals, new member, new 4Runner. I have been a member over on Tacoma world for a little while, but I just traded in my 2017 Tacoma for a 2018 4Runner Off Road.

I am not new to Toyota's or four wheeling, but I am looking forward to getting the new 4Runner out.

Here are photos of the truck and new ride. IMG_0682.jpg

Neither are race cars but the 4Runner is so much smoother on acceleration. And quieter and with less vibration. The Tacoma went fine when I stepped on it. But for in-town driving the 4Runner is much more pleasant.

To me, the linear power delivery and predictability makes it a much more pleasant driving experiance. It has a power curve that I am a lot more used to.

Overall I think it is a much nicer vehicle, but not a world of difference. And that is exactly what I was hoping for.

Plus, fitting in my garage with the bike rack and two bikes is really nice
