    Hi all, Chris here, new member to the 4Runner forum! Long time member of Tacomaworld, though. Anyways, picked up a 2017 Limited 4x4 in Blizzard Pearl yesterday! It’s too nice!! 106k miles and 1 owner. I don’t think I was hurt too bad on the deal. I’ve ordered some Husky Liners, Vent Shades, & steering wheel cover. Hoping to tint next week. Looking to maybe add a small lift, wheels and tires next. Anyone have suggestions for wheel/tire combos? Probably will look for AT tires even though it will mostly be on pavement. It will eventually see snow, wet grass, sand maybe etc.. Looking forward to putting some miles on this car!!!

    Congrats! FYI that the Toyo AT3 and the Michelin Defender both come in the stock 20" tire size for the Limited. While those Toyo's are a pretty new model and haven't gotten a lot of real-world testing yet, the specs are phenomenal. An AT tire with high tread life rating and the "three snowpeaks" winter tire rating. They also look cool lol.

    The Defenders meanwhile are incredibly well rated and tested, with surprisingly high scores in off road and winter use despite being biased toward highway use. They're also relatively light, which is a plus for acceleration and MPG.

    Of course if you want to go to 17" rims, then you'll have a bigger selection of tires to choose from. Note that you can get OEM TRD wheels online for about $170 each, and from a Toyota dealer for only $215.

    Welcome to the forum.

    I have 17" wheels and 285/70R17 A/T tires on my Limited. I went with non LT tires as I don't plan to do offroading with mine. Sharing my video if that gives you any idea;

    Thanks for the wheel/tire input! I’m still undecided as to what wheel size to go with. It will probably be a few months before I decide one way or the other.

    As far as wheels go, I couldn't be happier with my Methods. Few lbs heavier, perfect fit.

    Those look good! This is my (very soon to be) wife’s car and she is wanting them to have chrome/machined look. She is thinking all black wheels will look too dark. Trying to convince her otherwise.

    Stock height, 265/70/17 with 17x8.5 and a 0x4.75 offset. Here's another pic, with 1.5" lift.
