Earlier this year I moved from my 99 f-150 into a 16 Tacoma TRD OR.....After 6 months, it was clear that we needed more room for our lives. Thus, we traded for a SR5 Premium 4Runner. Here is my build

Step 1: Arrival from Japan on a truck from Florida.

Step 2: Trade in the Taco

Step 3: ProComp 17" Beadlock wheels with BFG KO2 265/70/17
(They only scrub the mudflaps up front at full lock)

    Step 4: Beach Run

Step 5: Tint this beast. Legal up front 10% in the back and across the front

Step 6: Take it Home and prepare for next additions.

Looking for recommendations for Steps or Sliders. I am not sure what is the best thing to add but with a family I need them. I'm looking at the N-Fab Predator steps. Any suggestions for this or a bull bar are greatly appreciated. The last thing will be the roof rack.

    Thanks for stopping by.

Looks great, congrats. I traded in my 2014 Off Road 4x4 Tacoma for a SR5 4x4 4Runner and I am so happy. I think it was one of my better vehicle decisions, I love my T4R.

    Sweet color,

I love silver but your red rig is sporty and nice looking.

Welcome! Tacomas and 4runners are both great, just depends on what you need to haul more of- gear or people! Each can be modded into offroad beasts, or any other outdoor use. Love em! Enjoy the new rig

@Relentless I was looking thru your posts and I wanted to ask. Do you make a set of Slider/Steps or a Nerf Bar Design for the 2016 SR5 4 runner?

    Thanks for the interest!
We do currently have some weld on ones (sliders/step-slider's) and my wife picked up a 16 Trail Premium a few months ago, a bolt on style set for non-KDSS rigs will be available soon. Hopefully have hers made by the end of the month and then they'll be added as an option on our website. Check out @SixthSnail rig (Minifridge T4R), hes got some of our 'running rails' on his rig which is essentially our slider made flat and then with a filler step plate added over the tube. Functions as a step rail and a rock slider, that's what we'll be putting on my wife's as well just in a bolt on version.

@Relentless That sounds good man, Mine is a non-KDSS model, so I will keep an eye out for them. I am looking at the N-Fab bars currently, because they look very aggressive. Thank you

@Relentless 3-5 months for them to be made and delivered, is that an estimation or what it typically takes?

They are Weld On. I have no experience welding as well. I got them done by a shop. They are stronger welded on

Yes, ha. Estimated timeline, but that is typically what they take to get fabbed up and out the door. I've been trying to get caught up better on sliders and doing 3-4 sets a week but lately that has just been keeping us up with the estimated timelines and hasnt actually let me cut down the time yet. :goingcrazy:
