Hello everyone, my name is nate im from Cali and I just 2 months ago bought my first 4runner. It is a maroon colored 1992 4x4 3.0 with 173k original miles on tranny, chassis, and still original 3.0 engine. Has only had 1 head gasket fail.just got the A/C converted so its working again. It is on a 4inch pro comp lift which isnt too bad but i can feel its on its last leg and ill need to change soon. Has manual hubs and sits on 33" ko2 . wheels are 12.50xr15. Just put on a new slip joint and rebalanced rear shaft as well as creeper joints. Also small things like ran oil and ATF through engine for 15 minutes and drained to clean out and runs real good now. Was BLACK when i drained it. New air filter. Disassembled the maf and intake and completely cleaned those conponents and the throttle body as well. I posted a thread just a bit ago about a diesel conversion from the 3vze to the om617. If any of you have experience with this id love to know more seeing as this is my future swap. Glad to be here with everyone and hope to learn so much.! ✌

Thanks my man appreciate it. Currently chasing a few issues. I think my pinion bearing is toast. I get a pretty noticeable vibration at highway speeds on on deceleration though. Have done ujoints and rebalancing and nothing seems to help it. When the drive shaft is removed and i drive on highway theres no vibration so its either just I have a bad shaft or my pinion is shot. So im getting a new 3rd and my left CV just broke lol.other then that she's great.
