    Hi from LA Cali,

I’m new to the 4Runner world. A few months ago I got myself a new magnetic grey 4Runner orp. And so far I love it!! I’ve only drove thru 2 trails though. One in the mojave desert and the other in Vegas ( don’t know where I went) with my cousin. I did those trails all in stock.
I’m planning on getting a lift and changing my tires.
But I just don’t know where to start Lolol. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thank you in advanced.

Thank you guys. I appreciate the insight. I don’t wanna go all out rock crawling. It is my daily driver. So I’m just gonna upgrade the suspension and tires and I mite change my predator steps for new rock sliders if needed. I just want to be able to go to good camping sites and be able to drive thru the trails with good clearance. Cuz this last trip in Vegas had me scraping my skid plate like crazy. I drove thru a level 4-5 trail. Wish I could remember the name. It was fun tho.
I think I’m gonna start with a 2.5” - 3” lift and changing my tires to some all terrains, maybe KO2s. Also my 4Runner has kdss and I heard there’s a limit on a lift. Anyhow, my budget to make this happen is pretty good. At the moment I can drop about 4-5k. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

Welcome to the forum, I am also from the LA area. Tires are a good first mod if you don't have a good set of all-terrains on your 4R yet. There really are no shortages of options when it comes to mods. Enjoy the ride!
