    Hi Gang!

I'm the proud owner of a new, 2015 4Runner Trail, my first. I've barely got a 100 miles on it yet, but I just caught sight of the TRD Matte Black Wheels (p/n PTR20-35110-BK).

I'm wondering if anyone knows, definitively, if these are compatible with my stock tires: 17-in. 7-spoke alloy wheels with P265/70R17 tires.

Info about the combination on the net seems to be scattered and a bit contradictory.

Anyone have any firsthand experience with this combo? Good or bad?

Sorry if this is repetitive (I searched and couldn't find anything) or a noob question.

    BTW-loving this truck!

    Zach

17'' are 17'' should work, i don't see any reason why they wouldn't work,

Thanks...the confusion seems to be the 7" wheel vs. the 7.5" tire on the Trail.

I've even sent an email directly to Toyota, who has been dodging the question so far.

No you shouldn't have a issue going + or - wide as long as its not to far either way. Like sticking a 12'' tire on a 7'' wheel. Its better to go Wider tire on less wheel, You don't get the "Balloon Effect"

Just to follow up...Toyota did send me an "official" response.

"The Matte Black TRD Alloy Wheels are a 17-inch wheel, as are the wheels on your new 4Runner, hence your stock tires should fit the TRD wheels."

While true, they didn't note the 7" vs. 7.5" difference in tire, so I'm going go to assume/hope/agree with UssMoGn that it's a non-issue.

Time to take out the credit card.
