TRD wheels (black) BFGoodrich KO2 (265 70 r17) Black TREX front grill
I just purchased a black 2018 4Runner Off Road earlier in month and am
very happy with it. I've always been a 4Runner fan.
    This is my 3rd 4Runner (I previously owned a 1995 and then a 2008).

Post purchase modifications(so far) on new 4Runner:
    1) TREX black billet grill insert (to give stock grill inserts a much better look)...see pictures below
    2) Weather Tech floor mats in front, back, and cargo area
    3) TRD Pro wheels (black) from dealer with BF Goodrich KO2 tires (265 70 r17 C-Load) from DiscountTires.

Was debating on 275s vs 265s.
I don't currently plan to put a lift on it (if I do, mostly to lift front 1" to level it and keep the rear the same).
I read many of the posts how people felt on 265 vs 275 on stock Off Road suspention. It was great to
have access to what people have found so I could make an informed decision for what I wanted.
I decided on the 265 70 r17 C-Load BF Goodrich and am very happy wit how they turned out.
    They look (and ride) great!!!
For me, it came down to avoiding the extra weigh(8 lb) that E-Load BFG over the C-Load version and
some of the risk of slight wheel well rub with 275s due to TRD wheel having wider stance (more negative
offset) compared to Off Road stock alloy wheel. The aggressive BFG KO2 tread looks great and are very
    smooth on the pavement.

Obtw, I have always liked the "raised white letter" look on my previous non-black 4Runners (and Jeep). I
went with it here too on my first "black" 4Runner, and I think they look great (I know it's not common look
on a black vehicle, but if you are thinking about it, it makes the BFG look pretty BadA$$ ... to me :)

    Future modification:
    1) blacken front and rear bumper valance

    ----------------------------------------------------------

1st picture (TREX black grill has subtle look that is much better than stock plastic grill)

I know this thread is old however, I can't thank you enough. I have a black 5th gen and recently upgraded to the same black trd pro sema wheels. I just ordered a set of Grabber ATX and are set to install tomorrow. I've really been up in the air on white or black letters out. I've ALWAYS loved the look of whites on trucks with beefy off-road tires. However, you rarely see them on black runners. Seems EVERYONE has black on black these days. I'm really leaning towards white letters out. Afterall its not permanent. Yours looks AMAZING. awesome runner!

Welcome from Canada. Austin is a great city! Fantastic food trucks, and free tickets to Austin City Limits doesn’t hurt either!
