Joining the 3rd gen club with a CA owned 2000 sr5 4Runner 4x4 5 speed. This gem only has 109k miles! Fully stock and has never been abused.

What mods do you recommend? Trying to stay as close to stock (minimal mods).

    Thanks!

Welcome. Are you gonna off-road it much. If not slap some 2010+ Limited 20’s on there?

Lol that would look ridiculous. Way to big of a wheel for that model 4Runner.

My limited rims and tires are actually a few inches smaller than stock. And it looks good...

I know it needs rear 1.5 inch spacers and a lil bigger tire to fill the fender well....but it runs so much smoother now. And I’m getting incredible gas mileage...What do you think OP. Ya or Na, u won’t hurt my feelings?

Agreed. A red 5speed sold on bring a trailer for 14,250 today. 5more years of light use and good upkeep will bring huge dollars if ever the want/need to sell comes about.

Looks like I’ll be sticking to it as is. Appreciate the feedback! Stay tuned for more pictures!

Also if anyone knows of some beginner/easy trails in California (close to Bay Area) let me know. I’m new to off roading.

    Cheers!
