New Guy

Picked up my new 16 Trail Premium (w KDSS) yesterday, my first Toyota. Been driving a Chevy Silverado Z71 since I got it new in 2000. It will take some getting used to but I think this is a move up. The wife and I caravan road trips throughout North America with friends from the PNW...usually taking the road less traveled. They drive an 06 Sequoia and love it. We recently completed an 11 State + 2 Canadian Province trip covering 6K miles in 4 weeks...included 900 miles on dirt roads. When you are 50 miles from the nearest paved road and the only people you have seen were First Nationers wearing blaze orange while collecting mushrooms you know your on the edge. I fly fish and my wife collects fossils. Our home is in southern California.

 

One more thing...and I will say it now, I expect to drive this 4R to Fairbanks in 2017.
