Hi guys, I have been a member of tacomaworld for a little while and was really looking at the 2016 Tacoma. However, life happens and I need a reliable used vehicle quickly and as I like trucks, I don´t need a truck. I came across a 2007 4runner Sport with 146,862 miles. It is at a dealership and they are asking $11,991. Carfax shows to have one owner. I have not been able to go see it in person yet, but the pics show a moonroof and what appears to be a navigation unit(not sure). I know toyota is know for reliability, my question is how well do the 4runners hold up? Should I be concerned about anything with that mileage? I would like to hear some feedback on someone with this model please.

i think that the price is a little high, the mileage isn't cause for concern as the later years of the 4th gen don't show any problems that the earlier years did, if general maintenance has been met its a solid, reliable vehicle, but i think the price is about 1500-2000 high

Thanks for the input. I bought my wife a 2015 Rav4 from this same dealer, so I have a relationship with them, so I may be able to work that price down a bit. Plus I got a quote from them on the truck I am trading in from when I was going to get a Tacoma, and it is about 800 more than I expected, so there is a little to play with. I will try to make it over there and check out the options it has, it doesn´t show much on their website. The carfax shows maintenance recorded at roughly every 5k miles up to 62k, then nothing reported until the dealer checked it out for resale. That doesn´t mean nothing was done, it was probably done either by the owner or a local shop ( I hope).

thats most likely the case, I certainly would have them give it a once over and see if they find anything glaring
