    Hi all,

Looking at the 4runner as my new vehicle, with the TEP being at the top of the list, although I do really like everything about the TRDP, well, other than the lack of availability and the additional $$$ needed to get it.

Test drove a new Tacoma right after driving some 4runner's and didn't really care for it, as it felt much smaller on the inside and the engine/drivetrain felt smoother on the 4runner.

Good to be hear and look forward to learning more about the 4runner!

    Mike

I'm in New London on the southeast side of the state.

Leaning more and more towards the TRDP, mainly because it has everything I want and some extra's, would have a great resale value if I decided I hated it later on (doubt it) and I don't really have the space to modify a TEP on my own. I know the TE/TEP is changing to the TRD OR/ TRD OR Premium next year, but there's no build and price option yet on the Toyota website, so not sure what colors and options are available. I figure, if I'm going to spend this much dough, it might as well be exactly what I want.

Next year's TEP/TRD OR Premium will be exactly the same as this year's so consider pricing, options, and colors to be the same.

The only thing that sucks about the Pro vs the Trail Premium is that a moon roof isn't an option. Kinda stupid that the lower model has it but the higher model doesn't.

    Ya,

I've read the articles that say it will all be the same, other than the TRD OR badges, but there has been no new 2017 info on Toyota's website or at the dealers to confirm what the press releases have put out. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be putting a deposit on a Pro this weekend, so the point is mute I suppose. Definitely starting to look forward to a new rig, I'll just have to wait the few months for the thing to show up!
