    Hello All!

I am in the research and purchasing phase of my next rig, and the 4Runner is high on my list. I am coming here to find out as much as I can so that I can make an educated purchase and then make the necessary mods.

I have owned a 91 Toyota PU for 17 years and a Tahoe for 8 years, and I am thinking that a 4Runner will be a nice balance between the two. I am currently limited to <$25,000 so I am looking at 5+ year old rigs. If it were my second vehicle and was just for fun, I would have no problem with a Gen 3 with some mileage on it, but it will be my family car and daily driver, so I need the reliability and some of the creature comforts.

I am looking forward to the insight from this community!

    David
