New car warranty and oil changes

Having worked at a Honda dealership for 7 yrs I have personally seen things that would deter me from ever taking my vehicle in for any service whatsoever. I do however go into the parts department for oil filters, o-rings, crush washers, spark plugs, etc. If you’re mechanically challenged, YouTube can be beneficial in a step by step illustration for the do-it-yourself rookie. Generally speaking, the lube tech that performs these services are also just starting out in the industry using the trail and error method of learning his skills, it’s the error part of the equation that can be catastrophic.

With over 12 years with Infiniti back in the day, I have seen things that would, to this day, make you shake your head in disbelief.
