My 4Runner dream first started when my father purchased a brand new 1st gen 4Runner in 1987 for $17,500 MSRP, which was a lot back then. After High School I said I would buy a new 3rd gen 1996-2002, never happened. Still my all time favorite gen.
Then after college I said brand new 4th gen for sure within 2003-2009, never happened. Then when 5th gen were release, I said 2010-2013 MGM Trail, again didn't happen.
I finally pulled the trigger on a 2016 SR5 premium Super White.
After modding 3 Tacoma's, I am excited to get started modding this one.
I know a few members here from TW forum.
Attached is my 14 Taco before I parted out and new 4Runner at deliver day.

Thanks, I know 2017 remains unchanged for the most part but I felt time was running out. I prefer new vs pre owned.

Congrats. I was on TW also and just sold my 2014 off road 4x4 for a new 16 4runner. The ride is so much better, you will be happy.

Plans are mild lift on 5100 with Toytec 112620. TRD pro wheels, BFG KO2s, and pro parts here and there.
Thanks loving the comfy ride so far.
