    Hello,

I have never owned a Toyota before. My mom, sister and girlfriend (now wife) have had Tercels and Celicas. All good cars.

I just got a 2003 V8 4WD 4Runner and LOVE IT. Why didn't you people tell me how solid these trucks are! ha ha! It's an original Arizona rust-free truck. I never knew how much I'd enjoy a vehicle until I got this one.

I think the color is Galactic Grey, and it's a Sport Edition. Super nice truck that i got from the 2nd owner. My apologies for duplicate photos below but i am technologically challenged!

I just drove it from Phoenix to Rocky Point, Mexico and this thing is made for trips like this. Road trips and passing cars on the highway is a sheer pleasure in this thing.

    Best vehicle decision I have ever made. 20221023_103919.jpg 20221023_103447.jpg 20221110_134809.jpg20221023_103919.jpg 20221023_103447.jpg 20221110_134809.jpg 00606_9lnailCO4uhz_0CI0t2_600x450.jpg

That is a nice score. Congratz.

Looks like the previous owner kept it very clean. I see given some love with new TRD wheels. That a good sign.
How is the maintenance department? Everything done religiously? Including timing belt? Under body / frame kept clean as well? Suspension is in good shape too?

    Enjoy that beauty and welcome..!!

Many thanks for the welcome! I am sorry it's taken me a few months to reply to your message. I've been distracted with life (teens, work etc.) but now it's time for fun - i.e. 4Runner!

Yes, all maintenance is up to date. Timing belt done 5K miles ago by a certified Toyota technician. The underside is clean- there is no rust underneath. I love the TRD rims and the owner i got it from acknowledged that he got larger than needed tires and they rub on the plastic liners in the front wheel wells, but it does not damage the tires at all. it's more of a clicking than a rubbing grinding sound.

After owning this one for six months, I can say that it's fun to drive, I've already been in the desert with it, got it caked up with mud, taken it through snow and did another trip down to Mexico- all flawlessly executed.

Also, the prior owner i got it from replaced every bushing underneath the truck in the front end, all four shocks with high-end bilsteins, and he replaced water pump, radiator, front and rear brakes and just kept it in really nice shape.

Fun vehicle to drive around town and I probably get one offer a month for it!
