Hello, I am a new member to this forum, and this is the first time I have heard anything about the rusting Uber my Toyota 4 Runner. My daughter had an accident in my 4 runner last year on the highway, she said the truck starting driving different so she was attempting to get over to the side of the road, when the front tire came off the car, luckily she’s okay and no other persons were involved. This had to come from the rusting situation, bc now I am about to purchase suspension kits for the other 3 wheels. I take my truck to have it serviced at Toyota and have never been told of a recall. How do I go about getting some info regarding this situation?
    Thanks..

Pics of the rust please! Would help to see how bad it is. What component failed on the front?

Sorry I had to lol. I'd like to see how bad rust would have to be to cause a wheel to fall off but I'm guessing there's some other parts at play here. We'll need more info to assist.
