Need a engine....

So I'm guessing this is what happened. I lost the headgasket and all the or alot of coolant was on the lower end. Today I started it for the first time in two months and very quick I head the lower end knok. So the search begines. I'm in MO and would like to find a low mile engine somewhat close to me. I have connections to LKQ and I'll call them on Monday.

Yeah I was pretty up set yesterday. She almost hit 260k even. Still so young in toyota years too.

I'm switching Alot of the parts out to my other runner today, HID lights etc. I might switch out the stero I'm not sure. I know I'm switching the speakers for sure.

Well see how motivated I get. I'll start prepping the engine to be pulled out and putting all the part in the back of it.

 

how is the transmission?

 

Other than my pan gasket leaking I think it's ok. I didn't drive it so I'm not sure.

I was just sitting down this morning with one of my co workers and we were talking options. A 4.7 V8, the 5.7 Tundra Engine, a 2JZ set up, a 2UZ GS V8,and also a LS swap. Not really sure at this point. A lucky kid might get it to take to college so I'm not sure I'm going to set him up with a V8 swap 99 Runner. I'll probley just go back with a 3.4 and MAYBE slap a blower on it. We will see.....
