So I've been watching/reading a few DIYs on this. My question is in regards to the fuse part. 1 article says to install the fuse tap into the 10A INJ port. A 2nd video says to install it in the 10A Mirror Heater Circuit 10A MIR HTR. Anyone know which is correct? Does it matter which one?

The 10A INJ port is hard to tap on 2020 plus runners as they changed the fuse box. Some have left the cover loose but I worried about water getting in when I had a 2020. They make mini taps but the one I tried ruined the fuse block and I had to replace it.
For 2019 and under its not an issue

So is it just a matter of placement? Do either of the ports work? No difference?

So I found the answer from another forum, just in case anyone else is installing these -
"The INJ fuse is used for the Gen 2 headlights. Both will work, but the nifty start-up sequence is only available if the INJ fuse is used."

Good thread. I just ordered the Amber gen2's myself.

But what if the INJ slot is already being used by my grille raptor lights. Can I use another fuse slot, If want to keep the start up sequence?

Or is it possible to splice both (headlights and raptor lights) into one to both use the INJ slot?

Move your raptor grille lights to the ACC fuse slot in the main cabin. Have my grille lights set up there and no problems. As for the issue for the headlights, I am running the Alpharex Nova's in the 10 INJ Fuse slot and T-Tapped my Aiden James Fog Light Bezels to the Headlight DRLs (10 INJ Slot). So, you can always T-Tap your grille lights to your Headlight DRLs and put them in the 10 INJ Slot.

I just recently purchased my 4Runner. I'm looking to upgrade to black rims, black roof rack, black running boards and more
I just recently installed Morimoto XBs in my 2016 4Runner SR5, but put the fuse tape in a different spot than the standard 10Inj slot. I just ordered raptor lights (cheap shit from china) and they didn't come with a fuse tap, just open ended red/black wiring. Do you think if I somehow spliced the red wire with the morimoto fuse tap, it would work correctly?
