    Yo!

    Update:

    Hey, guys!

    April camping trip!

    Wyalusing, April 8-10.

Ridge sites can be reserved here:

    https://wisconsin.goingtocamp.com/

I'm on site 144 and @jstemp is on 142, so try to find something nearby. Or, if you prefer more privacy, don't. ;)

Plan is to set up camp Friday. Whoever gets there earliest can get some sites picked out. Bonfire/bs Friday evening.

Saturday, head for Lansing in the AM, T.W.A.T down to Potosi, grub at Potosi Brewery, back to camp for bonfire/BS.

    Sunday- coffee/breakfast, pack up.

    Looking forward to it!

@Getuponit , what part of the state are you in? I see some pretty nice 4Runners driving around in my area occasionally.

All good- wife and I are retired. Itchin' to get out, we just picked up our rig last fall and only had a chance to to do a couple of overnight trips. Heading to the North Rim/Kaibab National Forest in May. Possibly the Monongahela National Forest after Wyalusing. This will be a good shakedown trip for us. Thanks in advance for arranging Wyalusing.

    Awesome! Living the dream!

The T.W.A.T is a fun, super easy ride. It goes through some beautiful country. And, there are a few great spots for photos.

These Potosi trips are always fun. Looking forward to meeting you and your wife!

Hopefully I can sneak out on the 24th for Mall crawlers and coffee since it’s my anniversary.

It’s always a great time to hang out and bs with some of the Chicagoland area members.

Dang. That sucks you can't come to Wyalusing. Hopefully we can get a group together for the parking lot party on the 24th.

The Mrs. is questionable on the camping April 8-10 (probably not) but is willing to do the ride and Potosi. I am hopeful. Stay tuned.

Mrs. Stoney says we are a go for next Saturday, trail trip only. She is not interested in the camping this early in the year. We may bring the dogs, jury is out for that decision. What time are you planning to leave camp on Sat? We will be at your site before you leave camp.

    Also, Thatbassguy, check your inbox.

    A few things..

Lets all try to have 3/4 tank of fuel when we arrive at Wyalusing. We will have opportunities to top off along the trail, but just want to avoid having to refuel right away.

We should all have water/something to drink and snacks for the trail on Saturday. We'll probably stop at a gas station as usual, but that's usually a few hours into the trails.

We have a room reserved at Potosi Brewery for a 4-5pm arrival. Hopefully this gives us plenty of time for cruising/breaks/brotography.

Recovery gear shouldn't be needed unless something goes wrong, but we might as well bring what we have. If you don't have any, I wouldn't worry about running out to buy some, unless you're looking for an excuse. ;)

We'll need to get some firewood at some point, so some cash is good to have. Last year it was available at the campgrounds. We cannot transport firewood from other areas due to Emerald Ash Borers.

Anything I missed, or questions, post it up!

Let's have a good time this weekend!

Safe travels to Wyalusing everybody. Looking forward to hooking up, showing off our rigs, and general b.s. Me and the Mrs. are in our early 60s, love our country, aren't woke or politically correct, and are always up for having a blast.

    Good seeing everyone this weekend!

I passed a really nice looking 4Runner with a pop up camper on HWY 18 on the way home. Once I got close I realized that it was @Getuponit .

There's a mall crawler show in Chicago in a few weeks if anyone is interested.
