    I had a 2nd gen 4runner I bought in June of 2013 with a blown engine.

My buddies and I pulled the engine, sent it off to a machine shop, got it back, threw the engine back in with a bunch of new components fuel pump, clutch slave cylinder yada yada.

Got it back road worthy and took it to Moab in march of 2014!

With extremely limited funds (and knowledge), a Hanes manual and a 87 pcs. set of Stanley Sockets from Wal-Mart, It really wasnt too long now thinking back on it.

    Day I bought her 6/2013

    IMAG0083.jpg

    Just pulled out the engine

Hells Revenge in Moab. 100% stock!

The day I sold her 11/2015

    20151115_150616.jpg

I'm glad I moved up in the world to a 3rd gen!

My 2nd gen taught me a lot about wheeling, general automotive literacy and instilled my love for these 5-doored mid sized Japanese SUVs

Next up is some lighting! these hazed halogen bulbs in 17 year old housing don't do any favors

The 4runner did great on the trails!

We did black dragon canyon, buckhorn draw, copper globe and a small portion of the devils racetrack

Trip #2 to the Utah desert

This time down to Elephant hill and the confluence of the green and colorado rivers. Beautiful remote campsite secluded from all the Easter jeep safari shenanigans that were going on the same week(end) we were there.

Nothing like a good weekend with a good friend and a couple of longnecks to celebrate!

Oh yeah! I got the halos in :anonymous:

    Another trip to the desert!

But not before another light bar.

    20" bar.

Dual color diodes per reflector in the light bar making it way easier to see at night in fog and then also as a general white light bar

I love snowmobiling. This is my winter get away. I always have to be able to twist throttles weather it be street bike, dirt bike or snowmobile!

The sun popped out while I was coming down big cottonwood canyon after riding so I figure I had to pull over

    Got her put back together!

    Adventures continue!

This time, the hunny and I are headed up to backpack Amethyst Basin in the Uinta Mountain Range.

    Amazing area.

A collapse-able fishing pole is an awesome replacement for a 4.5" LED screen.

Went down to Moab to do some river rafting in the July heat!

The 4runner towed my buddies 2000 lb. pop up trailer great!

Our favorite campsite in Moab is on the east side of Baby Lionsback in sand flats rec. area.

Tried my hand at some better photography than my cell phone

    Nikon D70

We ran into some CRAZY weather while rafting on the Colorado river. One of the most insane rain storms I have ever been in. It lasted all of 10 min. just while we were passing through the Castle Valley area on the river.
