McGrew - Southwest Oregon

Anyone run this trail in a stock 4Runner? What were the biggest challenges?

 

Ok, I guess I'll let you know, haha.

 

I'm going to bump this, in case anyone wants to go. I got my special use permit from the Forest Service and have authorization for a couple more rigs.

 

Darn, did I miss it?

Im in Central Point but leaving for Prescott Valley on the 17th. I’m bummed about not getting a chance to run that trail, especially since it’s the only reasonable trail in Southern Oregon.

When are you planning to run the trail? If you need company, try Mike’s Custom Toys in Grants Pass. They may know someone who would like to go!

My permit is for June 21, up to six vehicles.

I did it two years ago with a two-door Jeep Rubicon. It was a very easy trail with that rig. I expect it will be a different thing with a 4Runner.

 

Well have fun, I’m envious for sure. I do think I’ll get over it, AZ has a lot of great trails (unlike Oregon ☹️).
