    Daystar coil spacers 2.5" front 1.5" rear, cut an hammered to run 33x13.50#15's custom winch mount in front bumper , LED off road lights all the way around motor stock .
    Hey guys new guy here .quick question I have a 96 4runner with the 3.4L V6 . When installing Led headlight bulbs lastnight I realized my air box was cracked I pulled it apart to repair it an saw how restrictive the mass air flow sensor is . Will a 99-02 mass air sensor work on my 96 ?

    How is it restrictive? Do you have a pic of yours? Pic of the harness puns as well. You may be able to also get a MAF off of a Tacoma with the same engine as well.

    No pics at the moment I'll post some after work today. The 1996 mass air follw sensor design looks like a torpedo ready to launch lol an on a 1999 4runner looks like a finger in the air flow that's the only way I can think to explain it lol

    The first two photos are the 96 ,97 maybe 98 style mass air sensor, the last picture is a 99-02 mass air sensor the plug connectors for both look exactly the same. Im going to the local junk yard this weekend an just try it what an see what happen .

    Tacoma whip, 99 console box, tru trac., steering wheel, PWMS and HVAC control out of a 99.
    Yes, the newer sensors will work, you need the air cleaner box out of a 99-02 T4R to make it happen though.
