It looks bent, but the alignment is also terrible.

And here I thought you were never going to change out that stock exhaust. I take it that tail pipe hanger gave you some trouble?

no i hate exhausted routed to the back. I wanted it tucked up and this one finished off nicely right there so i put the tip on it.

I like the FJ "high tuck" style pipes. But our spare gets in the way.

I'm still waiting on my Lexus headers to get here, been righ around a full month so far.

so happy you did this. i thought about leaving my tip there too but with the salt/sand in the winter it would get absolutely demolished. make sure you take that tip off every time you polish it because mine gets totally welded to the pipe when i leave it for more than a couple months. otherwise, enjoy that sound when you make a pull with the converter locked on the highway, it won't get old

Does it get louder with time? It seems to already have gotten a little louder. It's a great tone so far. Can't wait for the hot exhaust smell to go away though.

I recently installed a dash cam that I got. Install went extremely easy as I routed it up the A pillar and under the headliner. I hard wired it in as well.

Painted my LED lights on the dash cam. They randomly would turn on if the camera thought it was dark. I am not sure why because it only added glare off the windshield. So this worked well.

Installed some raptor grille LEDs today. I found a raptor and had my tape measure on me so I measured the width of the lights as well as the separation measurement. So I installed mine to "raptor spec". Here's my process and pics in progression.

    Take the grille off.

Grabbed this from local hardware store. Was the right length and thin enough to work perfectly.

Three LED trailer marker lights from superbrightLED.com.

Measured and drilled mounting holes to line up with the OEM grille securing bolts. Also measured out and drilled the 3/4" holes spaced appropriately.

Scuffed and painted the metal to finalize the install. You can also see where I cut and dremel sanded the center bar on the upper grilled opening. Then I smoothed it down and shot it with some black paint to hide and not obstruct the LED in any way.

I daisy chained the LEDs and soldered them together and ran wire behind the under hood mat and ran down and under the fender and out by the headlight where I soldered in the wires that tap into the parking lights for the power feed. Bolted the grille on and loomed the exposed wire and secured it out of the way of the hood latch.

the boot is blown wide open. Is the other OEM one so its just standard maintenance, i just dont want to do it. Especially after dealing with that stupidity just recently with the other CV.

Tonight I took the Toyota momentary traction control switch and converted it to an on/off switch.

    I took the switch apart
    3f738b18c4afdc3ec37e1237c6189fca_9665545d538f86189958e01f50e626186ae65ca4.jpg

Then I made two pieces. One straight to a 13/16" length, one Z shaped to a 1/4", 7/16", 1/8" shape.

    5fe7e5d5352627be56e461f006395d0d_2135cfcec1f8f6fc10668a675cce7dac11e9704b.jpg

Removed the switch stop that didn't allow the switch to fully seat.

    925a7724cc7e5c33ea8d20f9960f0922_675b286b72a7da1ad0ade5fd3c27211431ea19e4.jpg

Placed the 13/16" straight rod in first, it just sits there. Then place the Z piece long end in first by the rod. I filed the edges to not be sharp as it pressed against the plastic switch with a nail file.

    Reassemble switch and tested it.

Switch worked great, can hear it engage when you press it down and it holds. Then releases once you press again. The switch is now an on/off switch.

I got off early today so I went ahead and tackled this.

Remove the glove box and the single screw to access the 4x box.

Find the blue with violet wire and tap into it however you wish.

This is what it looked like when I opened the driver side lower panel.

Cut the red and white wire as I have to have the wire I just tapped on the passenger side connect to this red/white wire before the plug.

Run the wire from the passenger side to the driver side and clean up the wiring and tape what you need and start buttoning the paneling back.
