seems to be a fueling or ignition issue, does it sputter or just cut out?

Just cuts out. I know it's not a the fuel pump it's hooked up by a toggle switch.

it reminds me of a dirty fuel filter that clogs slowly, or a restriction that limits the fuel flow like a pinched fuel line. When that appens can you check for fuel pressure at the engine?
