It looks great and fits perfectly. I didn’t notice any significant wind noise. I haven’t put any weight on it yet, but I’m sure it’ll be fine. I painted the bolt heads black because gold made it look bedazzled. The customer service was spectacular and I look forward to more products. Need to get mine done also. So you put it together on the ground first? The directions say to assemble on the vehicle but I thought that would be kind of bassackwards.

An please tell me how you painted the bolts? Which paint? What prep? thanks!

I'll push SEM Trim Black 39143 until the cows come home as far as black paint goes. It matches all the OEM trim perfect. The stuff is amazing have painted two sets of stock roof rails and end caps already and about to do a third. Lacquer based to so no peeling over time. Check it out.

I used rust oleum canyon black. It matches really well. I just stuffed the bolts into a cardboard box and painted the heads. After everything was all snugged I sprayed some in the cap and used an artists brush for touch ups. I must confess that I didn’t read the directions for the installation. It just made sense to loosely put it together and add it to the roof. :oldglory:
