Hey all. Just bought a used 2007 RWD 4Runner, nothing has been done to it. I have big dreams for this vehicle, and a really small budget. As a new member and with no experience working on cars, I would love the help of this forum. I'm fairly satisfied with the top speed of this vehicle, since I don't race, but the acceleration and cornering are not as aggressive as I would like them to be. I plan on installing new headlights sometime soon, but i'd like to see if i can't force more air into the motor via a ram intake, as well as redo the exhaust (probably a cat delete, shh.)
Help me make these dreams a reality!

Welcome. Poly bushings and upgraded sway bars? I'm not into the speed and cornering anymore after I got out of the VW scene.

Ram intake is a poor investment I think. You aren’t really going to see much of a speed improvement with how much they cost.

    Thanks.

I've performed several mods recently. I pulled out the 90 degree elbow and the activated charcoal filter in the intake, and installed some LED spotlights behind the lower front grille. I also pulled off the running boards/step bars. Pictures to come.
