Did you swap the trail mirrors for the color key mirrors with turn signals? I have a trail but would prefer that setup. How difficult was the swap?

 

OP hasn't been seen in over a year. His past messages say it's an SR5 dressed up with Trail parts. If it had the SR5 prem pkg, it would've come with the turn signal mirrors.

The turn signal mirror electrical connector is a completely different shape with more pins. You'd have to bring the turn signal wire through the door flex conduit to the mirror. You'd then have to replace the connector on the door harness with the higher-density type, or cut off the connectors and use crimp terminals.
