LED light bar mounted in hood scoop?

    just saw a new Taco with a light bar in the hood scoop? Just wondering if anyone else has thought of it?

    I’ve seen a couple people on here that have done it. Or maybe that was on the Taco forums.... :notsure:

    First time for me. That’s prob why they put a non functioning scoop on the hood. Looked great. But it’s prob not legal here.

    I wouldn’t imagine it’s street legal anywhere if it’s blasting into the line of drivers. But it would make a sweet light for night driving on empty roads or if you go camping, etc.

    I've seen it with the Tacomas but the hood scoop on the 5th gen is thinner so it would have to be a real thin light bar to fit in there and actually produce a functional light pattern. I was going to look into it but kind of put it on the back burner.
