I'm super excited to have had my Cali Raised LED sliders (bedliner) delivered yesterday. Placed the order on 31st May, and it was delivered in slightly over 2 weeks! I know what I will be doing this weekend! I've actually had nothing but good experiences with these guys. I originally ordered the Victory 4x4, but then cancelled, since they were HREW sliders, and also, it was taking 60-90 days to be just at the front of the line... Just thought I would share my excitement. In addition, also ordered the LED kit from Cali Raised LED. Looks like I definitely have my work cut out for me this weekend.

    Cheers,

    Sean

    Feel free to ask
Nothing wrong with HREW, but if you can get DOM for around the same price, why not? My only experience with Cali-Raised is with their ditch lights and ditch light brackets and they’ve been great so far. I hear good things about their sliders, I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.

I'm researched and entertained sliders briefly but decided I really don't need them.

But I will say that the Cali raised would be my first choice.

    I was impressed with them.

    Best wishes with your install.

    Post pictures. :)

Nice! Some rad dudes over there that are always quick to respond and make sure the customer is always happy. I had their 40” light bar on my prinsu on my Tacoma along with their oem style switches.

So, as promised, got my sliders installed in a little over 4 hours, partially due to my OCD. I've learned a LOT along the way. Of course, I started with the passenger side, got done, and had to take it all off again, realising I had to put the step plates on BEFORE installing the sliders. Plus, it was 95 degrees fahrenheit today, so that didn't help! On the second time installing, i realised that if I started bolting from the middle and outwards (beside the starter underside bolt), it makes it a lot easier. The only bolt that I hadn't installed is the top frontmost on both sides. Was able to line everything else up, with the help of a shop jack.

Here are some pics as promised...

Thanks mate! They are the straight out version (0 degree). I decided on these because it makes it easier to step into the vehicle.

Indeed Mike! This is really the first out of my 4 4Runners that I've really just blown money into mods, but I had always been the "Nah, I would NEVER do that guy..." Yeah, now i'm fully retracting that statement.

    Cheers,

We’re just being human, right? My previous vehicle was an F150 that I just couldn’t leave alone for the first 6 months then all of a sudden like - I had it just where I wanted it and never added Anthony else. Same thing with my Rhino - went bloody crazy with it during first couple years then just enjoyed it.

    I “hope” I’m about done with the 4runner but……

Looks great! Thanks for sharing the pics.

I also installed the Cali Raised rock sliders on my 2021 OR and they fit without any issues. I purchased them in raw steel and primed and painted with UPOL Raptor bed liner....

My daughter recently won a pair of brand new sliders at a Toyota rally - bad news is there for a Tacoma - she has a 4Runner…

Bob, yours looks great as well! How long did it take you to paint in the bedliner? I just had them do it, because for me, it's about the patience factor... (yeah, i have absolutely none!)

    Cheers,

    Hi Sean,

I had some left over Upol Raptor from another project so it made sense to use it on the sliders. It took about an hour to clean the bare metal and prime and I let them cure over a week. It took a couple of hours to paint with the Berliner and I let them cure for another week before installing.

I was not in a hurry to get them on and I enjoyed the painting….

How are the Toyo’s for everyday driving? Quiet for the most part? Rig looks great!

They look really nice. I’m really liking the overall stance on your truck. Is it lifted at all? Stock tire size?

Hey matey! You know, they are a bit on the heavy side, but I don't get any road noise at all, which was really a big surprise for me. They are quiet for the type of tyre they are... Thanks a MILLION!

    Cheers,

    Sean
