I’m wanting an OPR with KDSS or a pro, I don’t really care for all the extra “pro” stuff, but to have an improved suspension from the factory makes it worth it, even if it’s not that great.

The wait time for TRD off-road premium is less than the pro. If these guys get me a trd off road in a couple of months, I think I'm going to go with it. They will apply my deposit on that. But this dealership also said that I may get lucky and they get a TRD Pro fast. Let's see

In my area, this dealership and another one out of 8 dealerships sell at MSRP. I'm wondering what the incentive would be for them. More sales?

Check with your 4x4 shop about suspension upgrade for KDSS. As of this Friday I learn that with TSS-P it is recommended to keep the factory rake (not to level).

So looks like it is not recommended to go full 2.5 front and 1in rear. May be you would have to go 2in rear which would need KDSS spacers on the brackets + after market track bar to avoid the problem track bar hitting kdss bracket. Front also recommend to have the KDSS spacer.

Again don't take my word, check with the 4x4 shop you go to about this new TSS-P recommendation when lifting newer 4Runners.

    Edit -
This recommendation to keep factory rake is across the board. The reason I mention KDSS is about the limitation / needing extra parts to avoid lift problems.

Hey by the way, have you guys noticed something. When the cruise control slows down the car, the brake lightin the back don't light. Isn't that against traffic laws, and it's kind of dangerous too. The driver behind you should know that you're slowing down. Or maybe I don't recall correctly

my hope is to not need with suspension for a while. Based on the way things have been looking, I’ll probably end up with an ORP with out KDSS, then I’ll be think suspension sooner.

I just a voicemail from the Salesman. I got excited that he would say, "A black TRD Pro just got alloted to us, it will arrive next month". But no, he said thank you for your deposit, I hope we answered all your questions SMH.

The suspension get installed in the US. If you get a PRO, have the alignment checked.

The PRO seems to have become a better value. The price gap (VS ORP) has gotten smaller, and they've added more features to the PRO.

Suspension and tires are the real upgrades. If you want to keep it stock, the PRO is best for off-road. If you want to modify suspension, I wouldn't buy a PRO.

    Congratulations..

With my experience with the TRD Pro I would check wheel balance and alignment day1. I'm not trying to be a complainer for TRD Pro, just sharing the ugly with others so they can have a happy experience than me.

Yeah bro, but you know what you're doing, I'm a layman. For an extra $5,000, Pro seems very reasonable now

Once I get my hands on the TRD Pro, I think I'm going to destroy this rock. Last time my street tires disappointed me.

It looks like if you'd have taken a more outside line on that hill, you'd have made it with your TRDOR.

I doubt a stock PRO would make it in the line you were in. Yeah - the PRO has good stock suspension, but it's "lift" over stock height is subject to debate, especially considering ground clearance.

The PRO has never been a consideration for me because I won't have a non-lifted 4Runner - ie: I'd just rip the stock suspension out and replace it. And...the ability to disconnect your sway bars is a significant off road capability...and you can't get it on a PRO.

But...I wish you well on your quest to conquer that hill! ;-)

Dude....what is wrong with you? Are you that easily upset over what someone else's thoughts are? If you don't like what he has to say, move along. None of us care to see what your spastic, emotionally-fueled temper tantrums are.

Same here. Only a software guys playing with all the wiring. So far got lucky not to burn anything. Else would have to message Thatbassguy for help..:D:D

I bet after you do the first memory upgrade it's a piece of cake right? All my home laptops were purchased with lower configuration. I upgraded them with SSDs & more memory. I purchased Windows DVDs and install myself. So much faster than stock. I partition with dedicated area for virtual memory as well. Very nice to run performance test just in case your memory is almost full or even a dos attack when you want to have some fun. I have my personal VPN as well so might not be traceable..:p

I don't think I've seen the lime in person yet. It's hard to tell from pictures oh, but it might look kind of cool.

fantastic advice. The KDSS system is great. I really enjoy it, but make sure it fits your end goal. I’m starting to realize the truck suspension will have to stay pretty close to stock because of this system. KDSS definitely limits suspension options

I agree. But, I would say to do your own research and don't trust a shop to know what will work. I've heard of shops being absolutely clueless about KDSS. And, the R4T video proves that even well known vendors don't necessarily know wtf they're talking about..

I guess the wildest color we've had so far is Voodoo Blue. Go check the resale on those, find some used ones online.

Depends on the buyer. A lot of the colors are great and folks will Locke, I think the lime is a short lived, but I’m also closing in on 50.
