Im running a modular ICS dash mount for a few devices. I Purchased an iPad Pro 11(Wifi Only) in hopes of hot spotting to my phone for on and off road navigation. When testing this setup, the iPad fails to provide navigation due to long lagging and lack of current position. Ive checked majority of settings on both my phone and iPad, which seem correctly set. A friend of mine runs a galaxy tablet the same way and his works flawlessly. Not sure if anyone has had this issue or knows of a simple fix.

Interesting. If you use the phone in the same location does it work without lag?

Apple doesnt integrate GPS on the Wi-Fi only models. This may be your problem.
I usually buy ipad's with wifi and cellular but don't get a celluar plan on the ipad and use my phone as a hotspot for the ipad.
