Bought a 2020 TRD Pro and in less than a month I’ve had a blackout emblem fall off and noticed a deep scratch on the interior trim panel by the inverter. I would totally expect this if I had even gotten a chance to take it camping but does the interior really scratch this easily? Any fixes? Willing to replace the whole panel if I must.

You're not the 1st person to question the quality of the interior plastic. Others will chime in ,I'm sure.
At least it is in the trunk area where not as noticeable. (I know my trunk area gets beat up badly after a few years.)

I wouldn't bother fixing it. It'll probably happen again if you haul stuff back there especially if you have kids. I've had my 4runner for 2 months and got scratches back there. One camping trip, and one trail run.

    Personally, I'd leave it alone.

Mine has all kinds of scratches and marks from using the cargo area.

    It won't stay perfect.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
As others have said, it's gonna get scratched and there really isn't anything you can do about it if you carry anything back there. I'm a bit disappointed in Toyota for using crappy plastic on their interiors.

Yeah mate, I think this was Toyota's weak point. In both of my 4th gens, i scratched the hell out of them over the years. For the 2019 and 2020, I started using one of those heavy duty moving blankets over the back when placing anything big. Helps a lot.

    Cheers,

    Sean
