Just wanted to wish all of you a great Holiday Season from Arizona. I'm pretty excited about being able join and learn from all of you. This is my first 4runner and I plan on doing alot of cool mods, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to our little family. I really love that trail edition. It's about as rock solid as you can get. I don't think the Pro is worth the extra $$$$. I can but a better lift in a trail and be one up on the Pro. I know you will love his 4Runner.

Welcome aboard. We've had a Canadian Trail since last September and it seems to have all the bell's'n whistles; Goodyear Duratracs, KDSS, etc. Not planning to do any mods as, at 84 years, I'll only be hitting the forest trails and I don't anticipate any rock climbing. Just be sure you keep the rubber side down. And have a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year - Ted

All you need is good tires in a Trail really. That and a on board air tank if you need to let some air out, then just fill the tires back up as needed.

Ol' Blue: I agree. The 4R Trail is my 10th 4x4 since my first new Int'l Scout in '64, and it's the best yet. My 4x4s seem to have improved over the years. Too bad I haven't. - Ted

Took her out in the desert today for the first off road trip and love it even more now.

She is a beauty and you have a right to be proud. Now treat her properly and she will repay you many times over. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and have a wonderful 2017 exploring the off-roads and trails. - Ted

Hey roadkg97, I see that you are in Arizona. I am outside of Phoenix and consider myself lucky to be around so many great trails. Not sure if you know how locked up state land is accessed. If you go online you can find a form to fill out and send online and they will send you 6 months of the lock combinations.
