If you've installed an add-on fuse panel, where did you put it?

A while back, with thought of add-on lights and such, I purchased a supplemental fuse panel, thinking it'd be nice to centralize power connections for the the add-on things.

Sorta like this critter from Bezos World:

Each time I open the hood and look for a convenient place to mount it (preferably near the main fuse panel), I come up empty-handed. I've put my amateur metalworker head on and thought up a couple of custom brackets, but I'd like to hold those thoughts for last resort.

Show off what you've done? Thanks!

haha which one? i have 4 different fuse blocks. let me know if ya have any questions on any of em

    1) engine bay auxilary: always hot blue seas 6 circuit hooked up to my aux battery & switch pro

    2) engine bay accessory: ignition controlled blue sea safety hub hooked up to main battery (relay controlled with ign/acc) for my compressor, drls, and anything i want to add so i dont need to keep using add-a-fuse piggybacks in my fuse box

I sometimes take pride in my wiring jobs at work being neat and tidy, but that's impressive, man!

I'll have questions this evening... I'm supposed to be working right now! ;^)

What happens if you need to check a fuse in the engine bay?

I got the Yotaxpedition one without holes. Super simple install. In hind sight, should have just got a piece of aluminium and made one myself for 1/10th the price. Nothing to it really.

i start pounding beers. it is a pain to get to the engine bay fuses, basically need to remove the compressor/switch pro mount, thats why i added the ignition controlled fuseblock so i didnt need to take things apart just to add an accessory. it doesnt take too long to just unbolt and lift it up but its not the easiest thing in the world. thankfully, its been 4 years and i havent had a fuse blow inside the factory fuse box so it hasnt been a big deal

My air compressor is passenger side behind air box, near firewall.
My add on power panel is driver side to front of brake assembly.
    C4 fab shelfs for both.
Mock up mounting pics below. I intend to pull power cable into passenger side front seat for GMRS mobile radio. After cable pulled I hope to install everything.

    Thank you for the pics.
I'm hoping to get some head-under-the-hood time this afternoon and take another look.

Nice setup! I have a very similar setup with a RedArc bcdc1225.

kinda ugly over the battery but solenoid for the winch, breaker for the stereo amps and then fuse for the accessories.

I like that plate. Is that a homebrew, or a commercial product?

    Thanks!
I made that with a piece of angled aluminum.
Used the 2 existing bolt locations and made the fastening points slotted so it can be easily removed if necessary as to access anything below it.
