Nope, we are hoping to get an ICE runner, and then see what comes of the new gens.

6th gen will probably be a hybrid, or turbo 4. It won't be all electric. I'd welcome a plug in hybrid option!

Rav4 Prime has 300 hp, so yeah that's quite some hp for a small crossover. It must be zippy.

If they put the 2.5 Litre from a Highlander in the 4Runner then God help us. It will be BAD except for mpg. One of the things I loved about my 4Runner was how loud it was when your turned it on. These hybrids are so boring.

The turbo 4 in the Lexus NX has way more torque than our dinosaur engines.

And a hybrid setup would probably have better power as well.

Not if you have a good accountant.

I'd track down a mint 1990-1991 Honda Prelude SI (to remind me of my misspent youth)
    A Porsche 911 Targa
    A Mercedes G Wagon
A 2020 4Runner TRD Pro in army green
    A Ferrari of some sort
and a big ole 70's era American station wagon with wood on the sides.

I’m about to take off the annoying and loud exhaust off my wife’s Pro. Coupled with the crazy wind noise, the motor is already underpowered, and I don’t need reminded that you have to wind it up to get it to move.

Anymore, I want quiet for my daily driver, and am kicking myself for putting exhaust on my Tundra. My daily before my Tundra was a Jeep SRT with custom exhaust, and even that got annoying.

    I must be getting old.

The check that I got from Toyota, I spent $1,400 of it on a new computer, my 10 year old laptop wasn't helping me be very productive. This system is a beast :)

I found a ten dollar bill in the yard while bagging leaves! I donated it to the Salvation Army.

The ZX Spectrum is an 8-bit personal home computer developed by Sinclair Research. It was first released in the United Kingdom on 23 April 1982 and went on to become Britain's best-selling microcomputer

Your monitor was the tv back in the day the whole used the tv as shared appliance.

    Floppy disk was cassette player.

BTW i still use DOS on some equipment still.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
My first computer? Well, not sure it counts, but I got a TI-55 when it first came out. Used it to replace my slip-stick in math class. NICE upgrade from a slide rule.

My first real PC was a off brand, came with DOS 3.1, had a 20 meg HD, split into 2 10's, since DOS couldn't handle more than 10 meg at a shot. 640 k base memory, and a math coprocessor. 286-12 processor. I even talked the Boss into a 320 KB modem. I thought I had made a SH system, and the best part was the government paid for it! It was needed out at my job. I was quite happy with my TI-55-II.
We even networked a few together. I made up a bunch of batch files, since at the time, the Flight Directors were all retired AF fighter pilots. They NEEDED batch files to run the most basic program. We even had to get some small, stick on letters, and put A-N-Y on the space bars of the key boards so these fighter pilots could find the ANY key. You know, strike any key when ready?

My GF at the time was mad at the PC we had out at work. All she could afford was a 286-10, no coprocessor. I made her day, though. She kept on me for a diamond, so I dug up a PAIR of them. Diamond Stealth video cards, that is :D

Yeah, I was a little behind, but I looked at the TRS 80 and so on, they just didn't impress me at all.

    Ok, ok, shutting up now...
    Pat☺
