So as a 1 month first time Toyota owner coming from what seems like a lifetime driving Jeeps, I think I finally get the popularity of the 4 Runner. It was 63 degrees out today, sunny, and carefree, so I finally opened the moon roof (first moon roof ever other than riding my motorcycle) and rolled down the lift gate window. Bebobed down the road with the wind on my bald head, radio up loud, and felt like a 4 wheel Harley rider annoying everyone around me with the loud radio and open Vehicle. Ha! Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever had a vehicle where the rear window opened fully either. With all the windows open it sure moves a lot of air through the interior at 70 mph. Looks like I'm going to really enjoy my 73rd spring on the roads.

Welcome. With all of the windows down and the moonroof open, it almost feels like a convertible.

Ha. Us baldies can still have lot of fun.....I've been posting about a bit of a disappointing experience with my new 24 runner, but have turned the corner today with a most enjoyable ride....Even though a couple of my jeeps were soft tops, I didn't really drop the top much because of the road noise. I found the runner road noise very acceptable with everything open except the front windows.
