500k is not a million miles lol the 2uz is a great engine I never refuted it but to infer all 2uz will reach a million miles is just stupid

Just curious, did you do a bill of sale? I create one any time money changes hands with a private seller, even for stuff like my $200 Sequoia takeoff wheels. I tell the seller that they'll need to sign it. Nobody has refused. May seem persnickety but if there's ever a question over something's origin, you may be very glad to have a paper trail.

Its actually easy with an Android cell phone, pull the cluster, probe two points with a make-shift wire setup from a phone charger, with some specific app they can change the mileage to anything they want.
    OR
They can swap the cluster but i am banking on this guy does this for a living and has an app on his phone and a wire harness and does it in the cluster.

The GM, Dodge, Jeep, Fords, can be done with an OBD2 scanner plugged into an Android phone in less than 3 minutes
The Toyota and Nissan are the hardest and have to have the cluster pulled and split apart.

Going in for TB and WP tomorrows I redid the rear brakes but messed it up somehow. It makes a clicking on the drivers side that changes with speed. Took the tire off and checked everything, nothing rubbing or bent. Pads are secure everything’s tight.
    I
think what happened was when I was taking that rotor off, I forgot I still had the parking brake on and was yanking like crazy to get the rotor off and it pulled the parking brake assembly out. I released the brake and got the rotor off and put everything back together but something with the parking brake might be messed up? Any thoughts?

When you force the rotor to come off you usually mess up/bend the mounting hardware, i.e. the pins that hold the shoes in place, those pins are not straight to begin with and you most likely straighten them out a little bit and they are now longer than they should be and possibly rubbing on the back of the rotor, if so you should see the rub marks.

You can buy new aftermarket hardware kits but beware that some come with pins that aren't the correct size/shape and you may end up with the same problem.

dang. I’m going to have the guy doing the tb tomorrow take a look I don’t have the patience to mess with that tonight. Plus it’s 92 degrees and humid. I have a video but don’t want to make a YouTube account just to post it
