I’m a ‘Break-in Period Violator’!!

Why does everyone think we are still in the 1970s driving carbureted engines with organic oil.

Oh, and make sure to have your tires filled with nitrogen.

 

They buy a Toyota because they’re tough and reliable but baby them because they think it will break easily. The early change is for the BrEaK In shavings that would be caught in the filter anyway and they are there within minutes not 1000 miles.

Hey so this was “Different”!! So after 600 miles it started doing something that I didn’t see before, while cruising down sleep inclines without my foot on the gas it ramped the RPMs up to 2000-2100. And I totally get that, it’s letting the engine RPMs assist with hill docents. So I guess that that means that it’s breaking in nicely, and Adapting/Learning??

Can I press charges on the state for building roadways that ‘Might’ ruin 4Runner break-in periods? (let the law decide)
