How Much Tread is Left on These

I'm thinking about buying some used wheels/tires for my 98 4runner, but am unsure how much life these will have left on them. I've heard of the penny method for measuring tread, but I'm wondering how many miles I'll get out of these. Thoughts?

Turn the penny so Lincoln's head is pointed down--if you can see the top of his head: fail

 

Tread depth is measured in 1/32's of an inch. The tread starts out at about 11/32's. Two 32's is the lower limit. If you put the penny head down and can still see the top of Lincoln's head, it is about two 32's, there is still safe tread. If not, the tire is not safe. As far as mileage left, it's dependent on driving conditions, methods and speed driven. If the price is right buy them and enjoy.
