Basically the AC wouldn't come out of the main vents and we couldn't get it to switch from the defrost.

We replaced the mood door actuator under the glove box side dash.

But now it won't reliably switch. I'll turn on the heat to max and then it comes out the defrost. But unless it's set to max heat, it will blow out of the main vents a lot.

I was told this was a timing issue because of the white piece attached to the actuator.

How do I adjust the timing piece to do this?

There are two actuators on the passenger side, not sure which one does what but maybe you still need to replace the other one?

I was told yesterday by a Toyota Tech that it was about the timing and placement of the parts I've got. But he just wanted me to buy OEM. Which are like X5 the price
