Wife an I drove mainly Honda civics for the better part of our 42 year marriage, moved to prius, then I gave up the prius because it lacked everything that makes driving fun.

Fast forward to last week, wife an I traded in our 2012 civics an upgraded to some nice 4 Runners. Salesman told me the thing had balls while the wife went to powder.

Anyways, I think we got the basic 2 weel drive model as the salesman said we were getting it for a steel. Mines black hers is also black. The other day I sat in our driveway hollaring at the top of my lungs not realizing I was trying to put my key in her 4 runner. Small issue, otherwise no problem with the vehicle.

I bought some beaded seat covers so I wouldn't make the same mistake again. These puppys are nice!! Thinking about putting all weather mats and a steering wheel cover soon.

Let me know if there's anything else a new 4 runner owner should have!

Welcome aboard Harvey. Depending on where you live, if you are in snow country, you might be sorry you did not get one 4R with all wheel drive or 4WD. It sure makes a difference in winter! - Ted
